G. Patrick Price Jr., Esq.
Mr. Price is the President of Exeter Trust. He is also a founding partner of Wilkes & Price, a law firm which specializes in estate and tax matters. Mr. Price is a native Washingtonian. He attended George Washington University on a golf scholarship and received his law degree from The American University School of Law. He has served on the Board of Directors of The Montgomery Hospice Foundation and The Capital Area Community Food Bank. Mr. Price is a frequent lecturer on the topics of financial and estate planning and is a member of the Financial Planning Association.
Karen L. Severy, Esq.
Director of Legal and Tax Services
Ms. Severy earned her B.A. in Economics at the University of Maryland. After earning her juris doctorate at George Washington Law School, Ms. Severy became a Litigation Associate at Cahill, Gordon, & Reindel in New York City. From there, Ms. Severy moved into a Senior Assistant District Attorney position for King’s County, New York, progressing through the Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C., as a Staff Attorney, as well as both the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and the District of Columbia as Assistant Attorney General. Here at Exeter Trust, Ms. Severy performs all in-house duties for the firm, including SEC/FINRA compliance, and corporate governance. She also provides tax advice and preparation, litigation, and litigation management for our clients.
Mr. Howell grew up in McLean, Virginia, and attended Langley High School. After graduating from Langley, he attended James Madison University where he majored in Management and earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration. Mr. Howell is currently working towards his Master’s in Business Administration at George Washington University School of Business. Jack serves Exeter Trust as a consultant on a variety of matters.
